Ruth Delores Gorham, 70, of 1020 Tuttle Ave., died at 8:20 p m. Saturday in Culver Hospital after a brief illness. Miss Gorham shared the residence of Rev. Charlotte M. HoTopp, pastor of the Milligan Memorial Church. The deceased was a member of the Milligan congregation. Miss Gorham came to Crawfordsville two and a half years ago from Rensselaer where she owned and operated the Powder Puff Beauty Salon. She was a former member of the Rensselaer United Presbyterian Church and taught a Sunday School class there. Born in Rensselaer on Jan. 15, 1898, she was a daughter of George W. and Caroline Norman Gorham. She attended school in the United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three brothers, a twin, Randle of Bloomington, and Frank of Douglas, Ill., and Lester of San Bernadino, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Henry Shively of Monon. Another brother, Norman, is deceased. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church here, with Rev. John Stacy, Rev. Fred Hofheinz and Rev. L. K. Wickett officiating. Continued services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Funeral Home in Rensselaer with burial in Weston Cemetery there. Friends may call at Bright Funeral Home here. – jlr
